Editorial Policy and Product Selection

MysterDeals publishes buying guides, shipping advice, troubleshooting steps, and tools for planning purchases. Our aim is to help you decide what fits your job, including when you can use something you already own.

What our buying notes mean

Product cards explain the intended use, why an option may help, and what to check before ordering. Guides compare practical choices such as size, compatibility, cleaning, and ongoing supplies. They are buying research rather than laboratory reviews unless a page provides evidence of hands-on testing.

We do not create star ratings, sales counts, test measurements, or customer testimonials. A label such as “best for” describes a use case; it does not mean that we tested every competing product. We include limitations and alternatives that help you decide.

Sources and writing assistance

Manufacturer specifications and official carrier documentation are preferred for product requirements and shipping rules. Links to those sources appear alongside the claims they support. Retail listings help identify an available option, but their specifications and pack variations must be checked before purchase.

AI assistance is used for some research, drafting, and website improvements. AI assistance is not evidence of product testing or professional expertise. Corrections and source checks remain necessary, especially when product listings or carrier services change.

Affiliate links and prices

As an Amazon Associate, MysterDeals earns from qualifying purchases. This does not add a separate fee to your order. Affiliate buttons are labeled as Amazon links, and disclosures appear on pages with shopping links.

Amazon controls the current price, stock, seller, delivery estimate, and checkout. We do not display live prices or promise that a pack is below a particular budget. Compare the selected size and quantity, shipping charges, and return terms on Amazon.

Auto parts and compatibility

Vehicle filters and catalog part numbers are starting points for a search. They are not a fitment guarantee. Check the manufacturer part number, engine, trim, production details, and seller fitment information before ordering. Repair guides do not replace the service information for your vehicle.

Publication dates, updates, and corrections

Article publication dates identify when a page first appeared. An update date identifies a substantive change to its advice or shopping options. We keep existing URLs when updating a guide so bookmarks and search results still reach the relevant information.

If a link, specification, or explanation is wrong, contact hello@mysterdeals.com with the page URL and the detail that needs checking. Include a manufacturer or carrier source when possible.
