Privacy Policy

This site keeps things simple:

Data We Collect

• Aggregate page loads and Amazon-link clicks, grouped by day, page, product, button position, and broad screen-size group (mobile or desktop). These counters are retained for up to 180 days. Our affiliate counters do not store IP addresses, names, browser identifiers, search queries, or vehicle details.
• Vehicle fitment selections (year/make/model/engine) are used in the auto-parts form. Choosing “Remember Vehicle” saves them in a browser cookie for 180 days and in the website session so the form can be filled again. “Change Car” clears that selection.
• Our hosting provider may keep standard security and access logs independently of the affiliate counters.

How We Use It

• Metrics help us decide which comparison pages, gear lists, and tech fixes to write next.
• Link counts help us understand which product suggestions visitors find useful. They record clicks, not purchases or commissions.
• We do not ask for names, email addresses, or payment info.

Cookies

• No behavioral advertising cookies are used.
• Our affiliate counters use no analytics cookies and honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control browser settings.
• Amazon uses its own tracking when you follow an affiliate link. Its privacy policy applies when you visit Amazon.
• Our host may set required cookies for security or load balancing.

That’s it. When we add optional features (like a newsletter or contact page) this policy will be updated to note any additional data collection. For now, browse freely knowing we’re only tracking anonymous usage stats.
